In 2005 was built a new, three-storey building of the museum, with a total area of 17 thousand square meters. The building of the museum has 11 exhibition halls, store, library, laboratory, and restoration masterskie.Sredi exhibits are products of the modern Turkmen fine arts, which include not only paintings and drawings, but also ceramics, sculpture, carpets, tapestries and jewelry. The hall collected works of artists of Turkmenistan, such as Byashim Nurali Yarly Bayramova Baba Ovganova, Enchantment Amangeldyeva, Yevgeny Adamov, Julia Daneshvar and others. Here are exhibited samples of West European art XIV - XX centuries of Russian painting and XVIII-XX centuries. There is a museum and the collection of samples of applied art from China, Japan, Iran and Indii.Otdelnaya exposure is rare artifacts that have been found at different times in the territory of Turkmenistan, and which occupy a whole room of ancient art.
